2025 Quarter Year Crisis
Happy Saturday my good friends! It’s actually mine and my husband’s anniversary today. We’ve been together for thirteen years and married for three. With that being said, I’m posting a book tag today!
I am constantly looking for ways to be active on my blog because I really want to stay motivated in posting. I saw A Literary Escape do this tag and knew I had to hop on this. This tag was created by Roisin’s Reading over on Youtube.
How many books have you read so far?
I am currently sitting at 38 books read! According to Goodreads, I am nine books ahead of time to meet my 100 book goal of the year. I feel like I’m not reading as fast as I was last year. That’s okay with me. It’s always about quality over quantity!
Have you already found a book you think might be a 2025 favorite?

The Last Letter by Rebecca Yarros
This book absolutely destroyed me. I highly recommend everyone to read it. Read my review here!
Any 1-star books / least favorite book of the year?
I’m not going to go into a lot for these books because I don’t believe in bashing them. I feel like I’m almost more picky about my ratings now than I have ever been. I always felt bad about rating books one star and would give a book two stars if I didn’t like it. I’ve turned a new leaf and have learned that I can rate a book one star and not feel bad about it.
Most read genre so far?
I have definitely been reading more romance than anything else. I’m honestly so happy with this because of how ashamed I used to be about reading romance.
A book that surprised you?

Indigo Ridge by Devney Perry
This book introduced me to the romantic suspense genre. I love a book with romance in it, obviously. BUT, I think I need more of these types of books. Please give me some recs!
A Book that’s come out in 2025 already that you want to read but haven’t yet?

Fearless by Lauren Roberts
I am so excited to finish this trilogy! It’s been such a fun ride and I’m ready to see how it’s all going to wrap up.
One goal you made that you’re succeeding at?
My reading goal is going really well. As long as I stay on track and I’m a couple of books ahead of schedule, I’m happy with that!
One goal you made you need to focus on?
Less screen time and more reading time… I spend 14+ hours a week scrolling through social media. Imagine all of the reading I could do instead!
I also have another goal where I want to have read at least 50% of the books I own. I’m currently sitting at 48.31% so I’m still working on this.
